Rosh Hashanah 2024 Candle Lighting

Rosh Hashanah 2024 Candle Lighting. Girls and all women who are in the house (or if there isn't a woman in the house, the head of the household), light candles to usher in each night. We usher in rosh hashanah by lighting candles, just as we do on shabbat.

Rosh hashanah 2024 begins at sundown on october 2 and continues through nightfall on october 4 (see more details here). May we cook and bake on the holiday?
